class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The hiking route &#8221; <strong>Traves\u00eda de la Serra Gelada<\/strong> &#8221; (Sierra Helada) coincides with the <strong>yellow route<\/strong> of the natural park.<\/p>\n<p>It is a linear route of about 8.5 kilometers and about 4:30 long, which connects the Information Point of l&#8217;Albir with the Cross of Benidorm.<\/p>\n<p>It can be done in both directions, or the round trip. Keep in mind that it is a <strong>demanding route<\/strong> due to the continuous ups and downs.<\/p>\n<p>In my case, I started the route in Albir, and it took me 5 hours (calmly and taking lots of photos). Once at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkalicante.com\/mirador-cruz-benidorm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Benidorm Cross<\/a> , I went down to Rinc\u00f3n de Loix along the paved road that leads to Calle Berl\u00edn, at the end of Avenida del Mediterr\u00e1neo. From there we can take the bus (Line 010), which takes us back to l&#8217;Albir.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9874ce9 From here we already have a wide view to the south, highlighting the city of Benidorm with its sea of skyscrapers. It doesn&#8217;t take long for us to leave the asphalt again and take the path that will take us along the entire crest of the mountain range, near the cliffs. It is a fairly <strong>demanding<\/strong> route due to the continuous ups and downs. Soon we see the silhouette of the <strong>Illa Mitjana<\/strong> (Islote Mediano). About 300 meters below, the waters appear crystal clear. It is the cliffs seen from the sea that give the name to the mountain range.
